Major Gifts

Major gifts empower Carolina Performing Arts to continue the tradition of bold, imaginative programming, new educational and community outreach programs, commissions for new works, and our ability to attract the very best performers in the world, season after season.

Major gifts may be used for establishing a new endowment or supporting expendable needs and can be paid over time, typically three to five years.

Planned Giving offers many excellent opportunities to increase the impact of your philanthropy.

Previous major gifts have supported the renovation of Memorial Hall, established the first endowment to support classical music programming, and made possible the performances of the Bolshoi Ballet in 2009 and the season-long celebration The Rite of Spring at 100 during the 12/13 season.
