Year-End Giving

Season’s Greetings! Please be aware of the following calendar year-end giving instructions to ensure tax year credit in 2023:

Credit Card Gifts

According to the IRS, for a credit card gift to count in a calendar year, the gift must be charged in that calendar year. Given the possibility of postal delays, we are only accepting credit card gifts online or by phone.

• Online credit card gifts must be made by December 31 at 11:59 PM. You can make your gift online here.
• Phone credit card gifts can be made between the hours of 9 AM–5 PM by calling 919.537.3818.

Stock Gifts

Stock gifts must be received by UNC no later than 4 PM on December 29. For stock transfer instructions, please use the Office of University Development’s guidelines. 

Cash Wire Gifts

Cash wire gifts must be received by UNC by end of business day on December 29. For cash wire instructions, please consult the Office of University Development’s guidelines. 

Check Gifts

Check gifts made payable to Carolina Performing Arts must be postmarked on or by December 31. Please mail gifts to:
