Join us for an exclusive opportunity to witness the creation of a major new work by Anne Bogart and Bill T. Jones before its world premiere as part of the Carolina Performing Arts 12/13 season.

In April 2011, Anne Bogart and Bill T. Jones met together with their creative teams for three days here at UNC-Chapel Hill to begin discussions about their new collaborative work, commissioned by Carolina Performing Arts for next year’s program The Rite of Spring at 100.

Now, one year later, the members of Anne Bogart’s SITI Company and Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company meet for the first time at UNC-Chapel Hill to begin the next major stage in the creation and development process for their new work.

Thursday, May 3, at 7 PM the companies will hold a showing, free and open to the public, to present their work-in-progress developed during their 10 day residency at UNC-Chapel Hill.

After the showing, attendees will have an opportunity to talk with Artistic Director of SITI Company Anne Bogart, Associate Artistic Director of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company Janet Wong, and members of both companies about their process and experience working together for the first time to build this brand new work.
