Securities and Properties
We welcome gifts of securities (such as appreciated stocks) and property (such as real estate or equipment). To make a gift of securities through your broker or by wire transfer, please contact the University’s Director of Gift & Data Management with any questions or to provide additional details about your gift: 919-962-3047 or giving@unc.edu.
Matching Gifts
Double or triple your gift. If you or your spouse works for a company that will match their employees’ gifts, please ask your personnel officer for a matching gift form to send in with your gift. Use our complimentary service to see if your company has a matching-gift program or contact your Human Resources Department.
Recurring Gifts
A recurring gift can be set up to occur on a monthly basis. This monthly gift can be made via credit card, bank draft, or payroll deduction (payroll deductions for UNC employees only).
Pledges
A pledge enables a donor to plan a gift and pay it over a period of years, usually five. A pledge payment schedule is created and reminders are sent 90 days prior. Pledge payments can be structured in any way that is most comfortable to you. Please contact Development at (919) 238-9623 for assistance.
